Senior Pastor
Joe Hernandez is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, senior pastor of Houston Victory Ministries and executive director of three recovery centers for men in the Houston area. Joe has served in the Houston area being a light and a helping hand to many people. He has committed his life to serving and helping people regardless of whatever circumstance, race or gender. Joe and his wife Gloria have worked side by side for 23 years in the ministry.
Gloria Hernandez is originally from El Salvador, married Joe at the age of 18 and a year later began a church in the Spring Branch area. Gloria is an inspiration and mentor to women everywhere. She communicates God’s Word with warmth and grace, inspiring others to pursue a more intimate relationship with Him.
Both Joe and Gloria started Houston Victory Ministries in 1986, starting off with just 3 people meeting in a small apartment. Since that time the church has grown into a multicultural congregation.
